Mykle McCoslin was born in Houston, Texas to her Irish-American father, Dennis Michael McCoslin, and her Honduran mother, Emma Cardona. She first began acting with the help of her Grandmother Elvis, who taught her how to sing, dance and improvise as a child. Mykle moved to California to attend college, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Southern California. She studied acting for many years at the famed Beverly Hills Playhouse under the direction of Milton Katselas, Jeffrey Tambor, and Al Mancini. Mykle made her film debut in the award winning short, ED, and is known for her work in Preacher, The Astronaut Wives Club, and will be starring in the upcoming indie feature, Run with the Hunted, starring Ron Perlman, Michael Pitt, and William Forsythe.
A proud member of Actors' Equity and SAG-AFTRA, Mykle serves as President of the Houston-Austin SAG-AFTRA local, as well as the Union's National Commercial Performers' Committee.
Mykle's upcoming novel, My Grandma Elvis, a memoir about her legendary grandmother, Elvis McCoslin, is set to be released in Fall of 2020. She is also adapting it into a screenplay, which she plans on directing.
